Aeka
- This time looking rather downcast in this beautiful sketch. I have no
matching cel... only this drawing. The actual sketch is kind of small...
but look at the close-up... it's a knock-out!
Aeka
in royal splendor in the first Pretty Samy special. In this
story line, she is the high school Class President being tended by a couple
of underclassmen. In this scene
she is about to leap towards Ryoko, toss her robes aside, and reveal her
cool karate tournament outfit.
This is another cel that doesn't actually exist in the video... but
the parts of it all do! The cel is made of three layers: Ayeka, The Girls,
and the van... plus there's the beautiful background. With the girls standing
there with their eyes closed... Ayeka should have her eyes closed, as well,
according to the video. A moment later... with everyone's eyes open, she
leaps from the van. So... all of the parts were in the animation... just
not exactly in this collective moment

no doubt about it! Lots of detail, lots of action, and lots of emotion!

(also spelled Ayeka )from Tenchi Universe going WILD
. She is seen, here, charging an enemy at full speed. Note that her painted
image is a small one. Check out her close-up...
pretty cool for being so tiny. Sadly she is a little broken up... she was
once stuck to her backing paper and has been popped off of it... leaving
a few pieces of paint behind on the paper. Still... she looks sharp.

& Kiyone- of Tenchi Muyo! I don't know
to which Tenchi incarnation this image belongs... Tenchi Universe... Shin
Tenchi or one of the movies?? With Ayeka in her sailor suit, I am betting
on Tenchi the Movie: Tenchi Muyo in Love! Each character
is on her own layer... and the layers are stuck together. Look at Aeka's
attitude... she just about can't stand it!

A coy glance from Aeka ... so sweet! Aeka (also Ayeka) is the Crown Princess of the planet Jurai... and proud of it! She loves Tenchi and battles with Ryoko for his attenetions.
Beautiful Aeka in profile. Nice color, cute over-bite... and it's a great close-up of her amazing hair-doo, too. I find her mouth to be most intriguing... so expressive... such simple lines. A beautiful, emotional cel.

Aeka is telling you how it is! Speaking from the heart... with a clenched fist! Look... She's left handed! Dynamite cel with great color and heaps of attitude. (I love this stuff!) The area of her heart is stuck to her sketch... and there are a few broken specks of paint at the pointiest parts of her hair. The sketch is a real treasure... a cel of Aeka with a matching sketch - rare! This image cracks me up every time I see it. A delight!
Aeka ... satisfied! It's good to be the Queen!
